life

sight, sound, taste, smell, touch, emotion

and time

we wanted more time

together

i am afraid of time

apart

i don’t know how to reconcile

time

leading to separation

and memories

your body forcing out your soul

through it all

you

held me in your eyes
with the gaze that looked through me
revealed me, loved me

embraced me in your arms
with a touch that anchored me
comforted me, wanted me

nuzzled me in your whispers
with feelings that challenged me
filled me, completed me

you

fill the sky
without beginning or end

i wait

for you

in another life
