I HOPE YOU KNOW
I think I've been holding it all inside
Deep down hoping your not really gone
I know that doesn't make much sense but
I'm not ready for all to be said and done
There are so many questions No answers
Are you all right now?are you at all?
Did I help you when you were here
Was it any easier to answer your call
Left here to wonder why or if I have
Any right to be as lost as I am
When you are the one who suffered so
And had to leave when the time came
I can only hope I did right by you
Gave you some comfort and love
When you needed it and I hope you know
I love and miss you if your watching from above

Geri, your poem expressed a lot of the thoughts I am having. You really nailed it. Thank you for sharing!
"NATURE is what we see,
The Hill, the Afternoon—
Squirrel, Eclipse, the Bumble-bee,
Nay—Nature is Heaven. "
- from Poem XXXIV by Emily Dickinson
"Love yourself now for the hope you have. You wouldn't be working on yourself if you didn't have hope." - from John Bradshaw's Creating Love
